Banana Custard Pudding Recipe

Banana Custard Pudding

Banana Custard Pudding is a dessert layered with Vanilla flavored cookies or wafers, custard and sliced bananas, served on top with whipped cream. My friend first tasted this dessert in her neighborhood shop & was talking on and on about it for hours. I was not much excited as I was not crazy about bananas (Despite being a big fan of Minions 🙂 ) until she prepared that for me at home with pudding mix. Since then I have been waiting for a good time to prepare this one and Today was THAT time.. 😀

The first thing that popped into my mind, when I saw the bananas (sent from my friends’ parents) was this pudding. I prepared my very own version of this banana custard pudding with custard.

Beware Ladies and Gentlemen, You may be forced into more banana recipes this week from Home-making-Delight until they get over 😀  😉

Custard – (Prepared from 2 cups of milk, 3 tblsp of sugar, Custard powder – 2 tblsp & Vanilla extract – 1 tsp)

Refer the links above on how to prepare whipped cream and custard at home.

(Mix custard powder in 1/2 cup of milk and keep it aside. Heat the remaining milk with sugar. When it starts to boil, add custard powder mixer and vanilla extract. Once it gets thickened, switch off the flame and allow it cool down. )

Tit-Bits:

  1. You can replace custard with pudding mix.

2. The above ingredients are enough to prepare the pudding in a 6 cup serving bowl. Adjust them according to your needs.
