Avocado Mug Cake – Eggless Microwave Cake
Avocado Mug Cake is an easy egg-less microwave fruit cake, in which the cake batter is prepared with the Avocado pulp and served with whipped cream & fresh fruits. As we were in holiday season, I wanted to prepare a cake that is very much appealing and fruity and I ended up in this tasty Avocado mug cake (Although not the very first time).
Avocados are used widely in cooking anything sweet to spicy, as they blend well with both. To add to that, I am just attracted to its pleasant beautiful green color. Making a mug cake out of avocados with whipped cream & strawberries would be perfect for my holiday, as this mug cake naturally brings out the color of JOY (Green, White & Red) 😀 😀
The fruit Avocado widely known as “Butter fruit” in India (because of its smooth texture) is also called as “Vennai Pazham” in tamil, “Makhanphal” in Hindi, “Venna Pandu” in Telugu, “Vennapalam” in Malayalam and “Benne Hannu” in Kannada.
Major health benefits of Avocado include
- They are loaded with healthy fibres and anti-oxidants and help prevent heart diseases and arthritis.
- Its commonly believed that avocados would increase the body weight as it is dense, but in fact, people consuming avocados tend to stay full for long time because of which it decreases the craving for food. So, there are chances you might lose some weight 🙂
After facing a few troubles in experimenting this mug cake, I have finally reached a safe version that is perfect for a smooth, moist & dense avocado cake. This cake is so dense that you want to make sure you leave enough space in your tummy for this special dessert 😉 As you know, usually mug cakes are supposed to take less time, so does this Avocado mug cake – You can call this as ‘2-minute mug cake‘. 🙂 But, a small problem behind this cake is that it should be consumed immediately or within a few hours as it tends to get dried.
