Curry Powder – Flavored Indian Spice Mixture Recipe – Sabzi masala

Curry Powder – Flavored Indian Spice Mixture – Sabzi masala

Curry Powder – Subji masala is a ground mixture of roasted Indian spices. It enhances the flavor of all the dishes starting from plain poriyal to sambar, gravy & sundal varieties (Legume salad). You can pretty much add this curry powder to all your dishes. I know so many of us (like me 🙂) are having trouble to eat veggies as plain poriyal/sabzi/stir fry. By adding this curry powder, you can easily spice up your dishes. 🙂

There are days when we are not supposed to include onion & garlic in our meal and my MIL always add this secret ingredient to the vegetable curries. It works every time like a charm as it brings out an extra flavor & cut out the raw taste of veggies especially beans, Cabbage (Kos) etc. You can prepare this in advance and store it in an air-tight container. Try adding this curry powder in your dishes and you don’t have to sneak the veggies into your loved ones’ meals. They would just love it. 🙂

Please note that this is NOT the garam masala that you usually add to your Biriyani, Kuruma varieties to spice up. This is just a simple sabji masala to enhance the flavour of your curries. Over to Curry Powder – Flavored Indian Spice Mixture – Simple Sabzi masala from Home-Making-Delight with step by step photos..
